An MS sufferer is attempting to raise money for charity after targeting celebrities on social site TwitterMrs T. Tilley uses the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy centre in Middlesbrough, a self-funded charity where sufferers can receive low cost therapy such as reflexology and reiki. Opened 25 years ago, the centre treats sufferers from Tees Valley, North Yorkshire, County Durham, Tyne and Wear and Northumberland.
To honour the charity's 25th year, Trudi and other centre members have organised individual fund raising campaigns. Her eBay auction of signed items donated by celebrities was drawing to a close with hundreds of pounds already placed by bidders. Trudi had already raised over two hundred pounds with several hours of bidding still remaining.
At the beginning of the year Trudi decided to put her hobby to good use, by asking celebrities to donate signed goods for a charity auction.
She Tweeted requests to TV personalities such as Chris Evans, Robson Green, Phil Jupitus and former deputy prime minister John Prescott
